Maine Attorney General Janet Mills was delivering a speech against President Donald Trump outside Portland City Hall when a group of protesters from Penobscot Nation unfurled banners and yelled over her. The American Indian protesters are upset about a federal judge's ruling limiting their rights over the Penobscot River in Maine, which the Maine attorney general supports.

The ship sank off the coast of Watch Hill, Rhode Island in 1811. It was commanded by Oliver Hazard Perry, who went on to fame during the War of 1812 when he won a naval battle against the British and reported, "We have met the enemy and they are ours."
