Maine Legislator Gets Re-Elected, Then Quits GOP

The Bangor Daily News reports that York County Republican state representative Don Marcan "left the Republican Party on Thursday without explaining his decision."

Marcan's action reduces the GOP minority in the Maine House of Representatives to 55 in the 151-seat legislature.
