A 55-year-old man charged with stealing a bracelet in 1987 got the case against him dismissed earlier this month when a prosecutor said she didn't have enough evidence to proceed.

About 35 years ago the man, at the time a resident of Methuen, Massachusetts, was charged by police in the town of Salisbury with unarmed robbery in the theft of a $20 silver bracelet, according to The Newburyport Daily News.
