A 55-year-old man charged with stealing a bracelet in 1987 got the case against him dismissed earlier this month when a prosecutor said she didn't have enough evidence to proceed.
About 35 years ago the man, at the time a resident of Methuen, Massachusetts, was charged by police in the town of Salisbury with unarmed robbery in the theft of a $20 silver bracelet, according to The Newburyport Daily News.
Former Vice President Mike Pence is planning to visit New Hampshire next month.
Pence is set to appear at the "Politics & Eggs" speakers series at Saint Anselm College on Wednesday, August 17. The event is to be hosted by the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, and is set to begin at 9:30 a.m., as NBC 10 Boston reports.
