Paul LePage, the Republican governor of Maine, said over the weekend he'd work to defeat Susan Collins, the Republican U.S. senator from Maine, if she runs for governor in 2018 to succeed him. LePage, a conservative, and Collins, a liberal-leaning Republican, have had their differences in the past, but Collins's vote against repealing Obamacare on Friday, July 28 appears to have widened the breach.
