Leah Cole Allen has collected enough signatures to get onto the September 2022 primary ballot.
The Republican lieutenant governor candidate, unofficial running mate of former state representative Geoff Diehl (R-Whitman), said she submitted 13,777 certified signatures — which is more than the 10,000 required to make the ballot.

That's because Article 11 passed at Arlington Town Meeting earlier this month, granting additional employee benefits to registered domestic partnerships of town employees. Those benefits include bereavement leave, sick leave, and parental leave, among others.
