BOSTON – CBS Films and Lionsgate announced that Kevin Bacon will be returning to Boston to star in "Patriots Day," a film about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. Bacon is well acquainted with Beantown films, having previously starred in "Black Mass" and "Mystic River."
Bacon will play the role of Richard DesLauriers, the Special Agent in Charge of the Boston division of the FBI who oversaw the investigation following the bombings.
