Kamala Harris Leads Donald Trump In New Hampshire, New Poll Finds

Vice President Kamala Harris may have a solid lead in New Hampshire over former President Donald Trump, a new poll shows.

The Emerson College/WHDH poll found that Harris leads Trump 48 percent to 41 percent, while Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has 6 percent support. The seven-point lead for Harris is larger than the poll's three-point margin of error.

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu says he wants Republicans to focus on policy when criticizing Kamala Harris, not her racial identity or sex.

"Personal attacks don't get a single new vote, and that's what yesterday was," Sununu told ABC's The View on Thursday, August 1. "They don't get a single new independent voter to say, 'Oh, you know? What I'm going to vote that way.' On both sides, but Trump is especially just so bombastic, so outrageous, and people say, 'Oh, I would never vote for him.' I don't need to tell anyone to vote for Trump. Vote for who you want to vote for."
