Juror Explains $274.5 Million Defamation Lawsuit Award

A business owner put up an electronic billboard along busy roadways in southern New Hampshire with messages that jurors found defamed three businessmen with unsubstantiated claims of illegal activity. The jury awarded in all $274.5 million to the defendants, based on a formula jurors came up with using the number of people who saw the electronic billboards as they drove by and who saw the defendant's posts on Facebook.
