Junior High Girls In Plymouth:  Dress Code Is Harming Our Mental Health

Girls are being treated unfairly and some are experiencing mental health problems because the public schools in Plymouth require midriffs, shoulders, and the middle of thighs to be covered, students said.

Two groups of students – one a civics class – from grades-6-through-8 Plymouth Community Intermediate Schools sent the Plymouth School Committee letters complaining about the policy, according to an Old Colony Memorial story published on WickedLocal.com.
