Former U.S. senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut a Democrat, who became an independent, is not happy with "The Squad" as of late.
Lieberman, a moderate, is a staunch supporter of Israel. As a result, he offered sharp criticism of both "The Squad" and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) this week because of his disagreements with them on foreign policy.
Connecticut wants people to get back to work and is willing to pay them to do it.
The state's Democratic governor, Ned Lamont, introduced the "Back to Work CT" program this week. It will pay long-term unemployed workers $1,000 after two months of working a new job, as ABC News points out. The state has $1,000 set aside for 10,000 Connecticut residents once they work for eight weeks in a row.
