President Joe Biden brushed aside a pointed statement from Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey questioning his candidacy for re-election in the wake of his damaging debate performance.
Healey, a fellow Democrat, issued a written statement Friday, July 5 saying: "The best way forward right now is a decision for the president to make. Over the coming days, I urge him to listen to the American people and carefully evaluate whether he remains our best hope to defeat Donald Trump."

The term "bird nazis," spray painted in purple, has been appearing on signs and vehicles since June 15, federal officials told The Cape Cod Times.
