First lady Jill Biden plans to attend a fund raiser Friday for her husband's re-election campaign on the lawn of a same-sex couple's house in Provincetown.
Titled "A Summer Reception with Jill Biden," the event on Friday, July 21 is expected to draw 300 people to see the first lady and eat "Locally sourced cod" along with "mini ice cream cones, popcorn and Cape Cod Potato Chips," according to The Cape Cod Times.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu's office is accepting applications from people who want to fill the remainder of the term, which concludes at the end of the year. It would fill the vacancy left by Lorena Lopera, who resigned last month. She joined EdVestors as its vice president; the organization is a nonprofit organization that provides additional funding to Boston public schools.
