Skipping school to protest perceived inaction on climate change is a good idea, the president of the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts said.
"Young people around the world are calling on adults to join them in this fight for their very future. Science has made it clear; the stakes couldn't be higher. This is a fight for the existence of future generations. We cannot wait any longer to take action and we cannot fail. There is no Planet B," said Judy Zaunbrecher, co-president of the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts, in a written statement Tuesday, August 27.
