NEW YORK (AP) — National Book Award winner James McBride is returning to nonfiction for his next project. The author of "The Good Lord Bird" has a deal with Spiegel & Grau for a book about the late James Brown. "Kill 'Em and Leave: Searching for the Real James Brown" is tentatively scheduled for March 2016.
