Jail Time for Refusing To Use ‘Right’ Pronoun for Transgender People?

A new California law appears to provide the possibility of up to a year in jail for health care workers who "willfully and repeatedly" fail to use the name or pronouns that a transgender person demands to be called by. The sponsor of the law says that would never happen.
