U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) has a positive approval rating in his state — but it's largely due to his overwhelming popularity among Democrats.
A recent Deseret Newspoll showed Romney with an 50 percent approval rating and 44 percent disapproval rating in Utah. The approval, however, largely came from Democratic voters; 84 percent of them approved of his job performance. Meanwhile, the report said that only around one-third of Utah Republicans approve of Romney. That means about two-thirds of Utah Republicans don't approve of Romney.
U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-Dorchester) offered praise for President Joe Biden and his administration for the pro-abortion agenda, calling pro-life policies racist in the process.
Pressley put out a statement on Thursday in response to a pair of executive orders signed by President Biden as well as another policy Biden wants to implement.
