In Liam Morrison Case, Middleborough's Anti-Free-Speech Police Strike Again

Back in 2012, the town made national headlines for passing a bylaw at Town Meeting to enforce a 1968 law that allowed police to issue $20 fines for public profanity. The message was clear then and it’s even clearer now: speech that offends delicate sensibilities has no place in Middleborough.
