Each year, just before the Jewish New Year, I visit the same Central Massachusetts apple orchard to buy apples.

It's a tradition in my family. It goes along with the practice of eating apples and honey on the holiday to symbolize hope for a sweet year ahead.

Jemele Hill of ESPN tweeted:  "Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists." Charles Blow wrote in The New York Times that Hill might have committed hyperbole in her tweets but was basically right:  "Either Trump is himself a white supremacist or he is a fan and defender of white supremacists, and I quite honestly am unable to separate the two designations."
