Nathaniel Greene of Coventry, Rhode Island served as general and quartermaster of the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War and was one of the most important figures in the independence effort. But admirers say he doesn't get nearly the attention he deserves; they hope to change that starting with this, his 275th birthday.
