Hingham, Scituate Play Traditional Rivalry Football Game … at Fenway?

Hingham and Scituate are Thanksgiving Day football rivals, but they played the game a day early on Wednesday night at Fenway Park, which was already set up for the Fenway Gridiron Series, which featured three college games (including Boston College's 39-16 win over the University of Connecticut last weekend) and three high school games (including B.C. High's 32-16 win over Catholic Memorial on Wednesday). Hingham beat Scituate, 7-6.

Plymouth County DA Settles Lawsuit With Prosecutor Who Refused To Contribute To Re-Election Campaign

John Bradley, a former assistant district attorney in Plymouth County, will get $150,000 and 18 1/2 months retroactive reinstatement so he can vest in the state's retirement system, and his lawyers will get $98,000, as a result of a settlement negotiated by the Massachusetts Attorney General's office on behalf of Timothy Cruz, the district attorney of Plymouth County. Cruz, a Republican, fired Bradley; Bradley claimed that Cruz fired him because he was a whistleblower and refused to contribute to Cruz's re-election; Cruz admits no wrongdoing in the settlement, but Bradley's lawyer says the settlement speaks for itself.
