A Yale medical professor wants the city of New Haven, Connecticut to ban leaf blowers because they pollute the environment.
The Maine legislature was considering a bill that would have moved the country's easternmost state to the Atlantic time zone (where New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Bermuda are, among others). But it was tied to whether New Hampshire and Massachusetts also accepted the time zone change, and for now neither state is going to make the move, so Maine legislators are going to let the bill die.
