Heightened security for Fourth of July

A former CIA deputy director who now works as a senior security contributor for CBS News said earlier this week that the joint bulletin released by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security sounding the threat of potential Independence Day terrorist attacks should not be treated lightly.
"I wouldn't be surprised if we're sitting here a week from today talking about an attack over the weekend in the United States," said Michael Morell, who also served as the CIA's acting director twice in 2011 and again from 2012 to 2013. "That's how serious this is."
