Harvard Recognizes New Graduate Students Union

Harvard University will bargain with a newly formed union representing graduate students, the school's president said.

Drew Gilpin Faust, president of Harvard, opposed the creation of a union before a majority of graduate students voted to unionize earlier this month. But now that the union is a done deal, university officials will negotiate with it, she said.
