Governor’s Latino Advisory Commission Listening Session: No Reporters Allowed

Governor Charlie Baker's Latino Advisory Commission held a "listening session" Tuesday night in Holyoke, but wanted to make sure certain people weren't listening in, posting a sign that said:  "To promote authentic sharing all of the Governor's Latino Advisory Commission statewide listening sessions are CLOSED TO THE PRESS."

‘Wynn Boston Harbor’ Casino: No Boston Harbor, Now Maybe No Wynn?

Casino mogul Steve Wynn is building a $2-billion-plus casino in Everett, Massachusetts, but a report in The Wall Street Journal that he paid $7.5 million to a manicurist who accused him of pressuring her to have sex against her will and that he sexually harassed other employees has led to calls for his name to be removed from the casino's license. No one is talking about delaying or scrapping the project, however, which includes a $28 million statue of Popeye.
