For years, Lincoln Academy, a private high school in Newcastle, Maine, has been having boys wear black gowns and girls wear white gowns at the school's graduation. But a senior who had learned about gender fluidity suggested maybe everyone should wear black, leading to disruption and confusion; she plans to attend Bates College next year and study climate change.
