As actual Americans celebrate Columbus Day, there's a movement among the less proud-of-this-country among us to twist and even eliminate history.
Ritu Goel, a Democratic candidate for town council in South Windsor, Connecticut, withdrew from the race this week after widespread outrage over her Facebook posting that said:
"Prayers for Las Vegas. People in favor of guns should have been on that strip."
