Friendly’s Co-Founder Dies At 102

One of the two brothers who founded Friendly's Ice Cream in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1935 has died. Curtis Blake was 102.

But his older brother and business partner, S. Prestley Blake, is still alive at 104.

An apparent lightning strike set a tree at Clearview Country Club in Millbury on fire from within.

The Millbury Fire Department posted photos of the tree on its Facebook page after arriving on the scene at 4:43 a.m. Sunday, May 26.
