Free (Or Nearly Free) Contraception For Everybody, Maura Healey Says

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey joined five other Democratic governors in calling for the federal government to require that all forms of contraception be provided free of charge or close to that through all private health insurance plans subject to Obamacare, Medicaid, and Medicare.

"Contraception is essential preventive healthcare," states the letter, referring to pills and other methods of attempting to prevent a woman from getting pregnant through sexual intercourse.

North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum dropped out of the Republican presidential primary, but he will still be on the ballot in the New Hampshire primary next month.

"Our decision to run for President came from a place of caring deeply about every American and a mission to re-establish trust in America's leadership and our institutions of democracy," Burgum said in a written statement. "While this primary process has shaken my trust in many media organizations and political party institutions, it has only strengthened my trust in America."
