Franklin public library is planning to host "Pride Month Musical Bingo" on Wednesday, June 7.
"It's Pride Month," the library's event page says, "it's almost summer, and we're ready to celebrate! Join us for a special edition of musical bingo featuring LGBTQIA+ musical icons!"
U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) plans to take his pitch to raise the federal minimum wage to $17 hours down south. Sanders has three events scheduled this week where he will tout the new fight for a $17 hourly minimum wage.
The events will take place in Durham, North Carolina on Thursday, June 1; Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, June 2; and Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday, June 3.
