Four New Hampshire Fairs Cancelled Because of Coronavirus — But Some Are Hanging In There

In New Hampshire, several fairs will not be taking place as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

As WMUR-TV Channel 9 in Manchester reports, the Stratham, Sandwich, Cheshire, and Lancaster fairs are all now canceled because of the virus.

Monkey See, Monkey Do:  Rhode Island Closes Schools for the Year

One day after Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker closed all public and private schools for the rest of the school year, Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo did the same.

"I've decided we need to continue distance learning, K through 12, for the remainder of the school year," Raimndo said during a press conference Thursday, April 23, according to WJAR-TV Channel 10 in Providence. "It's a hard decision. It's the decision that's been made, so now we have to make the best of it."
