U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Cambridge) called on Vice President Kamala Harris to run for president on a platform that includes providing a pathway to citizenship for the 13 million illegal immigrants in the United States.
"We need the tools in order to have more resources at the border, to have more resources in the states and cities that are supporting migrants," Warren told CNN on Sunday, July 28. "And I believe we need to create a pathway to citizenship. All of that is a part of what we need to do for comprehensive immigration reform. Kamala Harris will work with Congress and get that done."
