Former U.S. Representative Bruce Poliquin (R-Maine) plans to run for his old seat again.
Poliquin represented the right-leaning Second Maine district in the central and northern portsions of the state from 2015 to 2019. He lost re-election in 2018 due to ranked-choice voting. He got more first place votes than Democrat Jared Golden, but lost on second and third place votes.
A local pro-Trump activist plans to run for governor of Massachusetts.
Dianna Ploss, known for her frequent protests outside of Governor Charlie Baker's home in Swampscott, filed to run for governor with the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance this week. She listed no party affiliation.
