Former Drug-Dealer-Turned-State-Trooper Leigha Genduso Resigns

Leigha Genduso, who became a Massachusetts state trooper despite having admitted in 2007 in open court that she had sold drugs, helped her then-live-in boyfriend launder money from his drug dealing, and lied to a grand jury, has resigned from the Massachusetts State Police.

A State Police investigation found that Genduso didn't tell the truth on her application and to the trooper who performed a background investigation on her before her hiring.
