Former U.S. Representative Chris Shays (R-Connecticut) supports Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.
"I am excited about her. I'm not just happy. I'm really thrilled," Shays told CT Mirror. "It's positive versus negative. It's honest versus deceit. It's all the contrasts."
If former President Donald Trump wins the 2024 election, he would consider putting independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in his administration.
"He's a brilliant guy. He's a very smart guy. I've known him for a very long time," Trump told CNN this week. "I didn't know he was thinking about getting out, but if he is thinking about getting out, certainly I'd be open to it."
