The Fitchburg Sentinel & Enterprise, which traces its roots back to 1838, plans to close its office in Fitchburg and let reporters work from home. But it's far from closing the newspaper, a company official said — the paper just hired a new reporter and videographer.
Jay Gonzalez, a Democratic candidate for governor, called on Stan Rosenberg to resign from the Massachusetts Senate after The Boston Globe reported that Rosenberg's now-estranged civil-law husband, Bryon Hefner, had access to Rosenberg's email, despite Rosenberg's assurances that he would erect a "firewall" between Hefner and state Senate business.
