Fisherman: Federal Monitor Aboard My Boat Costs More Than I Make

A New Hampshire fisherman is suing the federal National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency for requiring that he pay for a federal monitor aboard his boat at a cost of $700 per day. The fisherman says he makes less than that himself, and will sell his boat if loses his court appeal.
