Fenway Park College Football Bowl Game Cancelled This Year

There will not be a college football bowl game at Fenway Park this year.

The Wasabi Fenway Bowl was set to take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 29 at Fenway Park. The University of Virginia was set to play Southern Methodist University. However, an undisclosed number of the University of Virginia's players have tested positive for coronavirus, and the school pulled out of the game on Sunday, December 26.

Gas is slightly cheaper than it was a week ago in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, but don't expect the price to fall much further.

The gas price is down one penny to $3.38 per gallon. That's still 10 cents per gallon higher than the national average.
