FBI Investigating Coronavirus Stimulus Spending In Connecticut City

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating certain expenditures from about $1.15 million in coronavirus stimulus spending in the southern Connecticut city of West Haven, according to the city's mayor.
Payments made to a company run by a Democratic state representative who also works as an aide for the city council have raised red flags, the city's mayor told The Hartford Courant, which did not identify the political party of the state representative in its news story about the investigation.
