Organizers of the Falmouth Road Race are asking runners to run seven miles in their own neighborhood after registering so the money can be used to support Falmouth charities.
The famous seaside road race on Cape Cod isn't happening this year because the Falmouth Board of Selectmen has cancelled all public events through August 31 because of the coronavirus emergency. It typically draws about 10,000 runners and about 100,000 people total.
