BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — A former Major League Baseball player is running for governor in Vermont as a member of the Liberty Union party, which bills itself as nonviolent and socialist.

Bill "Spaceman" Lee tells WCAX-TV (http://bit.ly/1VhfM7r) voters will "need umbrellas" if he's elected, because "it's going to be raining dollars," referring to money trickling down from the wealthy.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton and presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump each won primaries in Washington state.

Trump's win Tuesday helps him inch closer to clinching the GOP nomination for president. He is within 41 delegates of the number needed to become the Republican nominee.
