Everett To Offer Online Hearings for Appeals of City Fines

The city of Everett is planning to start offering "virtual hearings" online for people who want to challenge parking tickets and code enforcement.

Hearings via FaceTime and Skype are scheduled to begin Tuesday, January 21, according to State House News Service.

A city in Vermont voted to allow all-terrain vehicles to be used on downtown streets for a trial period.

On Tuesday, citizens of Newport, Vermont voted 414-294 to let it happen, according to the Associated Press. That's a majority of 58 to 42 percent.
