Tampons and menstrual pads will be available in most men's bathrooms on the Emerson College campus next school year.
Emerson Flows, an advocacy group that supports putting menstrual products in all bathrooms on campus, presented vice president of student life Jim Hoppe a petition with 408 signatures advocating for this change. Hoppe presented the proposal to administration and budget representatives, and the school agreed to set aside $7,000 per year for the initiative, The Berkeley Beaconreports.
Over a two-day span, nine stranded dolphins — two of them repeats — were rescued off the coast of Cape Cod.
On the morning of Monday, May 1, nine Atlantic White-Sided Dolphins were seen swimming in Wellfleet Harbor, according to TheCape Cod Times. As rescuers arrived to help the dolphins to deeper waters, one got stranded, followed by seven others.
