Five pitchers for the University of Massachusetts at Lowell varsity baseball team issued 18 walks, hits three batters, and threw eight wild pitches en route to a 17-6 home loss to the University of Rhode Island.

Rhode Island (11-13) scored 17 runs on only 10 hits, all singles, while beating UMass Lowell (6-20).

Marijuana Ice Cream Among New Pot Businesses Approved in Framingham

A Boston chef who plans to make marijuana-infused ice cream has gotten the green light from Framingham.

Cloud Creamery, which calls itself "Boston's first Cannabis Ice Cream company," plans to open January 1 in a 1,200-square-foot space at 119 Herbert Street.
