U.S. Senator Ed Markey (D-Malden) thinks the U.S. military budget is too big.
Markey's public comment comes as President Joe Biden proposed an $813 billion Pentagon budget — a $31 billion increase from last year. Markey said on Twitter that he does not support the proposed budget.
