William Galvin, Massachusetts Secretary of State, is proposing allowing early voting for five days before the state primary in September 2018. A date hasn't been set yet, but it looks as though it may be the Tuesday after Labor Day; the city clerk of North Adams said state primary voting turnout is always light and that allowing early voting before primary day would be "a total waste of our time."
