Driver Rescued From Car Sinking Into Pond

A man plowing snow in Winchendon in north central Massachusetts saw a car go off the road and into a pond. The driver got out on his own and sat on his roof, but he was in trouble when the car started sinking fast; a firefighter threw a rope to the man, who tied is around himself and was towed to shore.

It would be tough to expel Roy Moore if he wins the U.S. Senate special election in Alabama on Tuesday, a prominent liberal-leaning Republican said.

U.S. Senator Susan Collins, a Republican from Maine who often resists Republican initiatives, addressed Moore's situation during an appearance Sunday on Face the Nation on CBS.
