DraftKings argues to stay online in NY

NEW YORK (AP) — DraftKings and FanDuel, two of the biggest operators of daily fantasy sports gaming websites, won't have long to wait before finding out if they can continue serving customers in New York, one of their largest markets, after a judge said Wednesday he would rule "very soon" on a move by the Empire State's attorney general to shut them down as illegal gambling operations.
Following two hours of arguments in a packed Manhattan courtroom, Justice Manuel Mendez of state Supreme Court, told lawyers for New York-based FanDuel, Boston-based DraftKings and an assistant attorney general suggested he would rule promptly on the matter.
