DPW Director Turns Roadway Swastika Into Tic Tac Toe

Someone spraypainted a large black swastika on the pavement of a road in Fort Kent in northern Maine. The town's public works director would have had to damage the pavement to get it out, so he opted instead to turn it into a giant tic tac toe board.

UMass Bans Tibet Flag at Graduation

A Tibetan senior graduating from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst wanted to carry the flag of her homeland, occupied by Communist China since 1959, at her graduation ceremony on Friday, May 12. UMass officials say she can't, pointing to a policy of allowing only flags from countries recognized by the U.S. Department of State.
