Doug Burgum Drops Out Of GOP Presidential Race, Will Still Appear On New Hampshire Primary Ballot

North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum dropped out of the Republican presidential primary, but he will still be on the ballot in the New Hampshire primary next month.

"Our decision to run for President came from a place of caring deeply about every American and a mission to re-establish trust in America's leadership and our institutions of democracy," Burgum said in a written statement. "While this primary process has shaken my trust in many media organizations and political party institutions, it has only strengthened my trust in America."

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu will likely endorse a Republican presidential candidate this month, but he isn't saying which one yet.

Sununu plans to endorse either Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former United Nations Ambassador (and former South Carolina governor) Nikki Haley, or former New Jersey governor Chris Christie.
