Former President Donald Trump wants New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu to run for office in 2022 — but not the one he currently holds.
Trump said he wants Sununu to run for U.S. Senate against incumbent Democrat Maggie Hassan. Sununu, although a supporter of legal abortion, is a supporter of Trump.
U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) is planning to make a trip to Massachusetts next month.
On September 9, she is scheduled to be a guest at a fund raiser in Newton to benefit the MA 4 Dems PAC, a leadership political action committee created by U.S. Representative Jake Auchincloss (D-Newton) earlier this month.
